Obviously the levels are designed around this, but sometimes you have to bunny hop to take out enemies. The first one locks your aiming into the direction you are facingleft and right directions.
I would say the sequel is a good deal better than the first one.
The sequel dropped this mode but does offer online multiplayer in its co-op adventure mode. The first game offers a competitive local multiplayer mode in addition to its co-op adventure mode. The sequel has less zombies and, it taking place in the 1940s, you spend a lot of time fighting German soldiers in the second half of the game. The first game centers around zombies and gangsters in the 1920s and is a bit sillier than the sequel. There are a good number of cut-scenes and bosses. Each game gives you a wide range of guns you can cycle through to defeat your enemies.
Guns, Gore & Cannoli 1 & 2 are both about 3-5 hours in length, with #2 being a bit longer.
